At St. Teresa’s, our Year 3 Sacramental program is a cherished and significant part of our school life, marking a pivotal moment in our children’s spiritual journey. Deeply rooted in our Catholic faith and shaped by our values, we recognize the profound importance of preparing our children to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. This program is not just about instruction; it’s a sacred opportunity for children to strengthen their relationship with God and the wider Catholic family.
Through meaningful lessons, heartfelt prayers, and guidance from Father Tony Clarke, as well as dedicated catechists and Mrs. Jean McKenna, our School Governor and parish link, we seek to instil a deep respect for the sacraments. This journey brings our children closer to God and fosters a stronger sense of belonging within the Church community. The school, parents, and parish work closely together to support this program, with the school playing an active role in guiding and nurturing the children as they prepare to receive the sacraments. This united effort ensures that each child’s faith formation is a comprehensive and enriching experience.
