Year 3 started their charcoal explorations in Art today. They thoroughly enjoyed getting messy and created some lovely mark making pages.
Clay club got off to a fantastic start creating some creepy mummies. These tea light covers will look very spooky all lit up! Well done everyone.
Year 5 have made a good start to their ‘Typography and Maps’ Art project. They looked at different types of typography and artist Louise Fili before having a go their selves.
Year 4 have loved learning how pawns are moved in Chess today
Year 4 have made a lovely start to their ‘Storytelling Through Drawing’ project in Art, by looking at the illustrator Laura Carlin. Pupils used a range of wet and dry media to create a page from looking at her work.
Year Two were being Bible detectives today and we found the Book of Ezra! 🕵️♀️ 🕵️♂️
Year 6 looked at the artist Lubaina Himid today in Art. They explored painting on different surfaces with acrylic as an introduction to their new project 2D drawing to 3D making.
Year 4 enjoyed their first flute lesson with @MAPAS1
